This series will show the course of events that led the first Jews to come to the Western Hemisphere, and will trace some of the important Jewish families as they journeyed from place to place and the marks they left behind.

Rabbi Shimon Moch became a fascinated student of the Jewish History of the Caribbean and the early Jewish settlements in North and South America. He will relate significant pieces of that history and the personalities and their remarkable stories

January 16 - How the Jews came to leave the Iberian Peninsula for the Ottoman Empire, parts of Western Europe and then to the Americas

January 23 - From Dutch Brazil to Suriname, Curacao, Barbados, Guadeloupe New Amsterdam and Jamaica

February 6 - The next generation arises in Nevis, Sint Eustatius, St. Croix, St. Thomas, Panama, Costa Rica, Savannah, Charles
