Northern Colorado Jewish Action Network – NOCO JAN

NOCO JAN serves as a resource and support for members interested in social justice concerns in the local, national and international communities. We gather for regular Shabbat dinners to discuss social action concerns, share activities and actions taking place. We also distribute information from other groups working on issues of social justice.

Shalom Bayit is a committee of FOCO JAN working with Isaac NoCo on issues specifically related to justice for immigrants.

JAN meetings are open to the entire community. Dinners are currently taking place remotely. For more information watch the happenings or contact Nina at nina@rubin.net.

Hadassah Northern Colorado

Our Mission

Hadassah, the Women's Zionist Organization of America, is a volunteer organization that inspires a passion for and commitment to its partnership with the land and people of Israel. It enhances the health of people worldwide through its support of medical care and research at the Hadassah Medical Organization in Jerusalem. Hadassah empowers its members and supporters, as well as youth in Israel and America through opportunities for personal growth, education, advocacy and Jewish continuity.

Northern Colorado Hadassah welcomes Elaine Atlas as our new president. Elaine, a lifetime member of Hadassah, brings with her enthusiasm and years of experience from Long Island. If you have any questions, please contact Elaine Atlas at eatlas@comcast.net.

Men's Club

The Har Shalom Men's Club began many years ago. Initially established by Ed Kalin and held at the home of Gil Hersh, the Men's Club continues today, meeting October - May, usually on the last Sunday of the month (unless there is a conflict with other events or Holidays).

The Men's Club meets from 9:30 to 11:30am in Fort Collins at the home of Lew Wymisner. Bagels and lox with all the trimmings are the bill of fare. The cost is $5 per person.

The Men's Club rules are as follows: Nothing of consequence is ever discussed. RSVP's are appreciated to Lewiswymisner@comcast.net

Nes Gadol

Are you in your mid-50's or above?  Empty nester?  Active or maybe-not-so-active senior?  Then you'll want to check out Nes Gadol, a Har Shalom group that enjoys socializing, outdoor activities, movies and other events, especially if they involve food.

To learn of upcoming activities, sign up for the mailing list with Gary Spivak at:  beckspivak@gmail.com.
